One of the great blessings of serving together as Nevada Baptists is knowing that no church serves alone. God is opening doors for churches across our state to share the gospel, love their communities, and make disciples. The Silver State Missions Offering is one of the ways we join together to support that work.

Each year, the SSMO helps churches take meaningful steps into their communities through local outreach and evangelism. These funds have helped provide Vacation Bible Schools, Fall Festivals, campus outreach events, evangelism training, community engagement projects, and many other opportunities to build relationships and share the hope of Christ.

We’re encouraged to see more Nevada churches utilizing these resources than ever before. As ministry opportunities continue to grow, so does the need. A church’s participation helps ensure that when a congregation is ready to reach its community, resources are available to help turn that vision into reality.

Every dollar given to the Silver State Missions Offering stays in Nevada to support local gospel outreach through Nevada churches. It is a practical expression of churches investing in one another so that, together, we can reach more people with the good news of Jesus than any one of us could alone.

Churches that would like to request assistance for a one time community ministry event should complete the Silver State Missions Offering Request Form.
