2:30 – 4:30 PM – Prayer Summit with Paul Meldrum from Prayer 6:4
This prayer summit will provide a formative time for leaders to come together in prayer as we
seek to reach Nevada with the gospel and to strengthen disciple-making churches.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Annual Meeting Session 1

Tuesday, October 14th

8:45 AM – 10:45 AM – Annual Meeting Session 2

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Annual Meeting Session 3

The Nevada Baptist Convention exists to serve churches across our state by providing resources that strengthen leaders and equip them for mission. Our Annual Meeting this October will conclude with several lunch ministry workshops immediately following the final session on Tuesday. Led by gifted leaders from Nevada and trusted friends outside our convention, these workshops are designed to encourage and equip the church. We believe each session will be a blessing, and we hope you will consider staying to be strengthened and inspired in your ministry. Below is a brief summary of our workshop options:

Creating a Culture of Prayer: Paul Meldrum | Prayer 6:4
Building on the foundation set by Paul on Monday, the Tuesday lunch workshop Creating a Culture of Prayer is designed to help pastors and church leaders intentionally develop a culture of prayer in their churches. This practical session will equip you with tools and strategies to establish meaningful rhythms of prayer and reflection in your ministry context.

Faithful in the Ordinary: NAMB Team
Pastoring in rural and bi-vocational settings can feel lonely and exhausting, and it often comes with little to no recognition. These pastors and their churches are deeply valuable to the heart of God and his plan to reach the lost and build his kingdom. This workshop from the North American Mission Board is designed to encourage and equip pastors serving in these contexts, reminding you that your calling matters, your ministry makes an eternal difference, and your faithful work to feed God’s sheep and make disciples brings glory to Christ.

Breathe! —Trusting God in Seasons of Change (women): Heather Teis
Southern Hills Church
Change is not typically one of our favorite topics…at least when it comes to our personal lives (We often see a lot of changes that we’d like to recommend to those around us!). Ministry adds yet another layer of possible surprises to our perfectly laid-out plans.  But how do we find joy in seasons of change that come to our life? When we are struggling to catch our breath in the midst of the unexpected, how can we lean into a trust that transforms? We invite all women to join us for this workshop as we turn our eyes to the truths from our loving God that will guide us through the good, the bad, and the unexpected.

Exploring Ministry in Newfoundland: Adam Diamond | Mile One Mission
Newfoundland and Labrador, a province on the east coast of Canada, is one of the least reached areas in North America and has a deep need for the gospel. Mile One Mission is committed to planting local community churches in this challenging yet beautiful place, and we are thrilled about the growing partnership between this ministry and the Nevada Baptist Convention. Already, five Nevada churches are actively supporting Mile One, and we long to see that connection continue to grow. Join church planter Adam Diamond to learn how you and your church can be part of reaching this province with the good news of Christ.
